Dena Moon was honored at the March 17 School Board Meeting as Employee of the Month. Dena works as the custodian at Malad Middle School. She also works each summer deep cleaning at the middle school.
She shows excellence in everything she does. She goes above and beyond with her job, striving to guarantee that our school looks brand new in every corner. She is consistently early to work and takes pride in every window, classroom, and hallway cleaned. Her positivity helps the staff and students know that they are working in a great environment.
Dena regularly steps up, adjusting when the gym schedule has unexpected changes. Her consistency and attitude in helping wherever there is a need helps create a great school culture. Dena is a wonderful person to work with. We appreciate all that she does to keep Malad Middle School looking the best.

We would like to remind everyone of an important safety protocol during arrival and dismissal times at the Middle School and High School. When a staff member is holding a Stop Sign at the entrance or exit of the parking lot, all traffic must come to a complete stop. This signal is in place to protect not only the staff members from directing traffic, but also the students riding our buses.
We ask that you do not attempt to pull out in front of the buses or dart past them while they are entering or leaving the school grounds. The safety of our students and staff depends on everyone’s cooperation and patience. Ignoring the stop sign or failing to stop may result in a citation.

Senior Project Community Open House is in 1 week at MHS! Come see the projects the MHS Students have completed. We can't wait to see you on Monday, December 8 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
