We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students. Please know that the school is here to support our students and families. With the power being restored, School will start on time today.

If power returns overnight, school starts on time. If restored in morning, 2‑hr late start. Updates will follow as we know more.

There is no afterschool program today due to the power outage.

The Malad High Parent and Child Development class will be hosting a “play school“ for children 3 to 5 years old! This is a great opportunity for our MHS students to learn more about working with young children! If you or anyone you know, has children 3 to 5 I would like to participate, please share this link with them! I’ve also attached our flyer! Thank you for your support!

Community Members! Please stop when the School Bus Arm is out; it's the law. There have been far too many incidents recently of drivers not stopping as buses load and unload children. Please remember the safety of children in our community by stopping when the bus stop arm is extended. Children rely on you to obey the law so they can cross the street safely..

The Girls' Basketball Clinic will take place and be hosted by the MHS Girls' Basketball Program.

The Idaho Association of Elementary School Principals recognized the
outstanding leadership and contribution of elementary and middle school principals. Principal Hannah received the "Distinguished Service" Award today in Boise, for the State of Idaho. Principal Hannah has demonstrated superior leadership in elementary/middle level education and has demonstrated outstanding service to the profession and to the welfare of Idaho students.

Reminder: The Active Shooter Drill is taking place on Thursday, August 7. We'd like to remind everyone that Jenkins Avenue will be closed to traffic during the drill. That means no one will have access to the Middle School or the High School during the drill from 1:00-3:30 pm.
