Kathryn Atkinson was named October Employee of the Month. Kathy works as a math teacher at Malad Middle School. She is an amazing teacher who puts her whole heart into teaching and helping students succeed in Math. Kathy also is the Math and Science coach for our Math and Science Club teams. She puts a lot of extra time into these clubs practicing with the students and helping them prepare for competitions.
Mr. Smith said this about Kathy: "Working with Kathy Atkinson is a real pleasure for all of us at Malad Middle School. She is a mentor for new teachers who need some extra help and brings a perspective that benefits all of our staff. She brings a positive attitude to Malad Middle School every day. She is a wonderful person to work with."
