Welcome to the Special Education Department for Idaho Home Learning Academy in Oneida School District. Our purpose is to find children in the IHLA virtual school who have disabilities and are in need of special education services that allow them to be educated effectively. We want to work with you and your child to provide the necessary services and support needed for your child to achieve their very best.
How do I find out more about remote learning for my student?
Step 1: All current IEP, BIP, or 504 documentation for your child will be gathered at the time your student is enrolled in the IHLA program.
If you are concerned with your child's academic performance but have never had them on an IEP /504, please contact your child's General Education teacher for referral to the Student Success Team.
Step 2: Once the special education records have been received from the district of residence or most recent school attended, an IEP meeting will be held by the IEP Team.
The IEP Team will determine what services are to be provided and amend the current IEP as needed.
Step 3: The IEP Team will determine appropriate related services and best delivery methods for those services.
