IHLA High School

We are proud to recognize Sam Funk, a 10th-grade student from Coeur d'Alene and a volunteer in the Escorts and Errands program at Kootenai Health. Sam recently went above and beyond when she changed a flat tire for an elderly patient, refusing any payment, but generously accepting a huge hug in return. Her kindness reflects the very best volunteerism, and she is a wonderful example of the difference one person can make. Sam is also among the top 20 finalists for the AQHA Acheive contest.
